Knitting dolls eyes

New to knitting so just would like to ask if you have certain techniques for knitting eyes on dolls? and should there be a specific size embroidery floss that I should use? thanks for helping out this newbie!

For doll eyes, I sometimes use either felt circles or embroider them on after making the doll. If you're going for embroidered eyes, try using a lighter weight embroidery floss size 3 works well for most doll projects. Hope that helps! happy knitting!

A lot of us use either satin stitch or a simple french knot depending on the size, to give it more detail, you could layer a few stitches for depth and even add a little white dot for the sparkle
For your floss, standard 6 strand embroidery floss is perfect and you can use all 6 strands for bigger dolls or split it down to 2–3 strands for smaller ones
